honestly i'm no expert at weight loss but during like this... "journey" i've done a lot of research. the best way to start is by moving. literally like just start walking/doing some sort of cardio if you're not ready for the gym. but weight lifting is also an awesome way to start too and it'll start the body recomp phase

i personally don't diet but i do watch what i eat and i make substitutions like sugar free sodas and energy drinks. i also just started cooking at home a lot instead of going out to eat (fast food) but eating out is okay!!! you can't deprive yourself of feel-good foods otherwise you'll fall back into bad habits but being mindful of these things is good. you can always find low-cal meals anywhere you go. being in a calorie-deficit is also a sure way to lose weight

also!!!!! non scale victories!!! don't rely solely on the number when you weigh yourself. there are other ways to tell that you are losing weight (making progress). i first noticed my hands/veins

A not weekly magazine schedule is literally common !! Especially in the seinen shoujo and josei demographics, sometimes monthly, sometimes biweekly, sometimes every two months, sometimes seasonal! Please stop lying about how Dunmeshi was some special unique creation that defies all standards of manga just to hype it up because it is so clear that every single one of these comparisons is centered around Weekly Shonen Jump (and understand that SJ has many magazines under its brand that are monthly or semimonthly). Not everything is WSJ and it needs to stop being the only point of reference in conversations like this 🤧

the thing is that childhood doesn't just end when you turn 18 or when you turn 21. it's going to end dozens of times over. your childhood pet will die. actors you loved in movies you watched as a kid will die. your grandparents will die, and then your parents will die. it's going to end dozens and dozens of times and all you can do is let it. all you can do is stand in the middle of the grocery store and stare at freezers full of microwave pizza because you've suddenly been seized by the memory of what it felt like to have a pizza party on the last day of school before summer break. which is another ending in and of itself

No shade to OP as a person but believe me, this is a sign that something is DEEPLY fucking broken. Like they announced ONE new IP out of like eight films. I genuinely think within the decade they're just gonna stop making original films all together. That's what they learned from Elemental and Wish, just don't make anything new if you can help it.

Like they've unironically turned into what people pretend Dreamworks is, a sequel mill. The real downside is that Dreamworks actually knows how to make a good sequel, Disney never really figured that one out, bar a couple of outliers, and I have no faith in them pulling any of these off. Absolutely soul-crushingly pathetic. Thank god other animation studios exist.
